Today's post is of a card that I will be doing at tonight's $5 Thursday event.  Thanks for looking, Susan Kauber

Day 16--New Blog
The card for today is a very clean and simple card using Pacific Point ink and Cardstock as well as the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set available during Sale a bration as a "free" set with a $50.00 merchandise order from a Stampin' Up! catalog (mini or IBC).  I like how quickly this card came together.  I did  use the Big Shot to emboss the left side of an additional piece of Pacific Point CS, but other than a little stamping and punching, ribbon tying, it was quick and easy.   BTW  this card will be one of the cards featured in my stamp camp this Sunday afternoon.  Need more information on the camp? check out my SU website at:  www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net
Thanks for checking me out today.   Susan Kauber

Day 15--New Blog
Today's card is one that I will be featuring at my Stamp Camp this weekend.  The stamp set is an exclusive one only available during Sale a bration called Sprinkled Expressions and it is free with any $50 worth of catalog merchandise from Stampin' Up!  Check out my website at www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net
for details about my camps and classes.

Day 14--New Blog

So today's card is one that I recently did at a stamping event for 12 gals.  They liked the simplicity of the card, but it also has some nice embellishments and interest due to the DSP and the punches.  Click on the card and it will enlarge it with a black background.  It looks rather light on the blog.
The paper and ink are Lucky Limeade and the stamp set is Fresh Vintage--a Sale a bration exclusive product.  I will be making a similar card to this at my March classes, but changing up the cardstock and DSP.  Thanks for looking.  Susan

Day 13 New Blog--  So for those of you just checking in to my blog for the first time.  The reason for the number of days and then New Blog at the beginning of this post is that I began this Blog after attending Stampin' Up! Leadership in San Antonio this January and doing a blog for 30 days straight was a challenge one of my Stampin' Up! mentors, Dawn Griffith presented in a class I attended.  Well I got off to a great start and then life got in the way.  So I am back in the saddle and posting projects and hosting events.

Today's card is another one that I will be featuring this month in my March Classes.

It was a CASE from a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Chat, at www.memystampsandi.blogspot.com

We used a stamp set called Up in the Air, a hostess set out of the Occasions Mini Catalog as well as ribbon available only during Sale a bration.  The paper and ink are Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade.

Have a great day and thanks for checking in.   Visit  my Stampin' Up! website for details about the Occasions Mini and Sale a bration sales period at www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net         Susan Kauber

Day 12 New Blog -- Yikes!  It has been a month and 3 days since my last post.  (Doesn't that sound like a confession?!)  Anyway, I am back at it and hope to post daily.  I have had lots of questions about "when are you going to do more camps/classes".  Well, it is definitely a balancing act between work, family, Stampin' Up! and now a new dog.  So bear with me and check out my Stampin' Up! Website at www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net
for four new classes that I will be providing during the last 1/2 of March.

This card is one of them for the $5 Friday I am hosting this Friday 6:30-7:30pm.  It features a stamp set called Fresh Vintage and DSP from the Sale a bration catalog.  Poppy Parade Ink and Cardstock and the Ivory Crocheted Ribbon all from Stampin' Up!

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by.  Susan Kauber

Day 11--New Blog

The card that I am posting today was one of the full cards that I took to Leadership in San Antonio.  I participated in a full-card Valentine "WOW" swap.  I came home with eight different full valentine cards--and they were "WOW"  Hope you like it.  Susan Kauber

Day 10--  New Blog

Today's post is of a card that my son made after a stamp camp I hosted quite awhile back.  Jack, my son and Cate, my daughter, both love to come in after the camp is over and make up the cards with the leftover set-ups.  Jack does not always need to look at the sample though--he is able to create just using the supplies and his wonderful mind.

Thanks for checking in.  We are at the last Nordic Ski meet for the EGMS--Jack's middle school today in Breckenridge.

Day 9--New Blog

This card is a quick, clean and simple card that is a direct CASE from Mary Fish, another Stampin' Up! demonstrator whose blog I follow.  Check it out at www.stampinpretty.com  Mary said this card could be made in under 10 minutes, so I took the challenge.  Sure enough!   Today is a work day for me with my Maze job, so I better get back to business.   Despite all the talk of feet of snow, Granby did not get but a dusting.  Denver on the other hand is another story.  Thanks for checking in.  Livin' the dream, Susan Kauber

Day 8 --New Blog
Wow--Having a blog is like having another child.  Except I have neglected the blog in the past two days and am not going to get in trouble.  Stick with me; it's a new routine, and as Rhea Hughes www.rheastamps.blogspot.com
, a gal I met at Leadership in San Antonio said, I can create posts and schedule them to post on certain days.  I may have to do that if I get busy with life.  The only reason I don't want to do it is because I kind of think of  the BLOG as a "Dear Diary," and I don't want to LOAD up my Diary with multiple days at the same time.  Probably too much reading into it, but standby for the growing pains.

So last night my downline, Kris Holinka, and I hosted a Downline meeting with my upline, my sidelines, and downlines that live in Grand County.  We were re-capping Kris and my trip to San Antonio--Leadership with Stampin' Up! and providing some resources to them as well as a couple make n takes.  This picture is of a project I provided.  It is a CASE from Dawn Olchefski, www.dostampingwithdawn.com .  Dawn was a presentor at Leadership and is a real inspiration to me for ideas and techniques.  I demonstrated the "faux bow" that Dawn has on her website as a video.  I did CASE the card closely, but changed the ribbon, deleted an element she had and added a border to the Happy Birthday, as well as used the Embossing Folder:  123128 Stripes  7.95.  Check out my website for an opportunity to look through our complete Idea Book and Catalog and SHOP NOW for product at www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net

Day 7-New Blog (I totally spaced posting yesterday so you will see two today).

This post is just going to be newsie, and then I will post a picture later this am.  So since this Blog is centered around my Stampin' Up! business I thought I would give you some background of why I enjoy being a demonstrator.  As a mother of two young kids (one Middle School and the other Elementary School), my life is in constant movement.  I am a SAHM with a SAHPTJ--a stay at home mom, with a part time stay at home job.  Sounds like a lot of staying at home .. . . . not really when it comes to the kids and getting them from activity to activity, school and home and being with them on the weekends.  But the part-time bookkeeping job is from home.  I really enjoy working for Amaze n' Mazes:  check out www.amazenmazes.com to see how working for a company that sells fun and see why, but that does not satisfy my need for Social Interaction.  That's where Stampin' Up! comes in.  Stampin' Up! allows me to get together with other ladies and create, inspire and teach what I love--Stamping and making handmade
cards and projects.

Check out my website at www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net  for more inspiration, ideas and the opportunity to order Stampin'Up! products.

Day 6--New Blog

The following is a darling project that Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up!'s Cofounder and CEO demonstrated on stage at the Leadership Conference I just returned from.  I used the Labels Collection #125598  $26.95, Framelits Dies from Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Mini Catalog.  Check out my website at:   www.silvercreekstamper.stampingup.net  to check out all of our products and place an order.

I have changed it up a little with different designer paper, ribbon, a sentiment and a few other alterations.  I hope you like it.  This is going to be quick tonight, as we are hanging out with family after a long day of going to be Middle School son's Nordic Ski race in Eldora, CO.  Thanks for checking in.

Day 5--New Blog  (figured out the font button).
So today's post is of a very cute favor that could be for Valentine's Day or really any occasion.  I love the Fancy Favor Die #115965, $39.95 from Stampin' Up!  I have more than paid for that die with the amount of cute boxes I have made with it since I got it.  Everyone who attends my stamp camp this weekend will get one as a Thank You from me for coming.  It is filled with Dove dark chocolate hearts and ready for them to enjoy or to pass on to a "friend".  Check out my website at www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net  if you want to place an order or see the specifics of the Stamp Camp.  Thanks for checking in!

Day 4--New Blog (I will probably only count the days through the challenge to remind myself it's for 30 days--so hang in there)
So I am planning the projects for my stamp camp this weekend and I can't help but keep going back to our fantastic make n takes from Leadership.  So this card is from Leadership, but I will probably use different colors and paper, but the same basic design.  Did you notice the cute pink rhinestones?  Those are from the Occasions Mini Catalog:  #125410 Blossom Builders for 9.95.  You get the Rhinestones plus two sheets of die cut flowers.    Check it out from my website:   www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net   I've got a sick little girl home this afternoon, so TA TA for now.

Day 3--New Blog
Well today I am busy with work for Amaze 'n Mazes ( www.amazenmazes.com) my Bookkeeping job.  It is the end of the year and the end of the month etc, etc, etc.  But I did get a chance to cram in a few Stampin' Up! activities.  I have scheduled a Downline meeting for next week with another downline member who attended Leadership with me.  I have also scheduled a Sale a bration Stamp Camp for next week.  Check out the details at my website:   www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net   As for today, I am going to share another great Make n Take project with you that we did at Leadership.  I am going to feature it as one of the projects that we do at this weekend's stamp camp.  I love the simplicity of it.

Day 2 --New Blog

Day 2--I  made contact with Becky Roberts, www.inkingidaho.blogspot.com and got her blessing and congratulations on setting up the blog, but also the advise to get posting something.  I really have to say there is going to be a large learning curve here and with the fact that I have a new puppy and a part-time job, (oh and a family)  it can't be my top priority.  The priority though is as Dawn Griffith, www.dawnsstampingthoughts.net , another stamping "idol" of mine, said at the Leadership conference a bunch of us Stampin' Up! demonstrators attended:  Post something for 30 days in a row.  So this post is going to be newsie and I will see if I can get a photo in by the time I have allotted is over.
Holy Batman. .. I just added a photo of a Make n Take project that we did while at Leadership. I really can't believe it. I took the picture of the card, hunted around for the way to put the data card from the camera in my computer, couldn't find a spot, decided to put the data card thing back in the camera and find a plugin for the camera to connect to the computer. Found it, but then had to decided how to get it uploaded blah blah blah blah blah blah. Anywho, there it is. The Make n Take projects were fabulous. More to follow in days to come. Back to work for me. Thanks for checking in. Livin' the Dream, Susan Kauber

First Post Ever On My Blog

OK, I really don't even know how to blog, but I promised one of my "idols" from Stampin' Up--  Becky Roberts  www.inkingidaho.blogspot.com  that I would set up a blog when I got home from Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX.

I realize that I don't even have the Stampin' Up! themes or anything nor do I know how to do that yet, but I do know how to attach a "link".
So standby for more blogging from me when I figure it all out.  In the meantime checkout my on-line store at:
Stampin' Up! Website

Our biggest promotion of the year starts tomorrow and I don't want you to miss it.
