Day 11--New Blog

The card that I am posting today was one of the full cards that I took to Leadership in San Antonio.  I participated in a full-card Valentine "WOW" swap.  I came home with eight different full valentine cards--and they were "WOW"  Hope you like it.  Susan Kauber

Day 10--  New Blog

Today's post is of a card that my son made after a stamp camp I hosted quite awhile back.  Jack, my son and Cate, my daughter, both love to come in after the camp is over and make up the cards with the leftover set-ups.  Jack does not always need to look at the sample though--he is able to create just using the supplies and his wonderful mind.

Thanks for checking in.  We are at the last Nordic Ski meet for the EGMS--Jack's middle school today in Breckenridge.

Day 9--New Blog

This card is a quick, clean and simple card that is a direct CASE from Mary Fish, another Stampin' Up! demonstrator whose blog I follow.  Check it out at www.stampinpretty.com  Mary said this card could be made in under 10 minutes, so I took the challenge.  Sure enough!   Today is a work day for me with my Maze job, so I better get back to business.   Despite all the talk of feet of snow, Granby did not get but a dusting.  Denver on the other hand is another story.  Thanks for checking in.  Livin' the dream, Susan Kauber

Day 8 --New Blog
Wow--Having a blog is like having another child.  Except I have neglected the blog in the past two days and am not going to get in trouble.  Stick with me; it's a new routine, and as Rhea Hughes www.rheastamps.blogspot.com
, a gal I met at Leadership in San Antonio said, I can create posts and schedule them to post on certain days.  I may have to do that if I get busy with life.  The only reason I don't want to do it is because I kind of think of  the BLOG as a "Dear Diary," and I don't want to LOAD up my Diary with multiple days at the same time.  Probably too much reading into it, but standby for the growing pains.

So last night my downline, Kris Holinka, and I hosted a Downline meeting with my upline, my sidelines, and downlines that live in Grand County.  We were re-capping Kris and my trip to San Antonio--Leadership with Stampin' Up! and providing some resources to them as well as a couple make n takes.  This picture is of a project I provided.  It is a CASE from Dawn Olchefski, www.dostampingwithdawn.com .  Dawn was a presentor at Leadership and is a real inspiration to me for ideas and techniques.  I demonstrated the "faux bow" that Dawn has on her website as a video.  I did CASE the card closely, but changed the ribbon, deleted an element she had and added a border to the Happy Birthday, as well as used the Embossing Folder:  123128 Stripes  7.95.  Check out my website for an opportunity to look through our complete Idea Book and Catalog and SHOP NOW for product at www.silvercreekstamper.stampinup.net
